Singer Sasha Brighton has addressed the long breaks between her music releases, explaining that she was not under pressure to drop new songs.
Sasha Brighton revealed that she doesn’t feel pressured to release songs and prefers to take her time until she gets the inspiration. She noted that she would rather be patient and put out one good song than release many that are likely to jam.
“Did they send me to be active? I don’t need to drop every time, and my fans know that. They can’t drag me like that because I give myself and my music time. My music doesn’t put me under pressure, and I would rather sit back and look for a good song than release songs back-to-back because they will jam. My fans should slow down. This year, I want us to even go to the Serena Hotel for a concert,” Sasha Brighton said.
Sasha, real name Nannozi Joweria, rose to fame after she successfully auditioned to join The New Eagles Production. She released hit songs like ‘So Lucky’ before quitting the band four years later.
She later embarked on a solo career, and to date, she is not signed to any management. Addressing the misconception that artists who quit top management experience a decline in their careers, she dismissed the claims, insisting that one’s destiny was in God’s hands alone.

Sasha, however, called upon anyone willing to take on the role as her manager to come forward, and only if they meant serious business.
“Being a solo artist doesn’t drag my career down unless God decides so. Anyone out there willing to be my manager should know that it is strictly business and nothing more. Everyone who has suggested being my manager has ended up asking for other things. Let us first work and get money before anything else,” Sasha said.
