Sandra Teta Defends Weasel’s Talent Against Critics, Highlights His Crucial Role in Goodlyfe Crew’s Success

Date:

Socialite and bar host Sandra Teta has expressed her disappointment in critics who look down on Weasel’s talent and undermine his contribution to the rise of the Goodlyfe Crew.

A few days back, musician Weasel Manizo announced that he would be releasing an album very soon. Quoting his post, X user advised him to retire from music and settle for a shop downtown, triggering Sandra Teta, Weasel’s partner and manager, to respond via her Snapchat handle.

Sharing a screenshot, the seemingly infuriated Sandra revealed that all those who claimed Mowzey Radio was the only significant figure in Goodlyfe do not know that the duo wouldn’t have been there if Weasel hadn’t been part of it. In fact, big nominations like the BETs, or even top collaborations, wouldn’t exist without his contribution.

“The man you are downplaying laid a big stone to the Ugandan music. And most of you tend to think there could be a Radio without Weasel. I never saw any nominations that nominated Radio or even Weasel only. It is always Mowzey Radio & Weasel get the memo,” Sandra Teta posted.

She further emphasized that Radio chose to work with Weasel because he saw his potential and thought it was a perfect collaboration.

She reminded them about Weasel’s popularity before Radio came into the picture, and when they came together, they made a brand that made the local industry proud.

When the man was giving his brother, all you did was mock him, then uplift him. Let’s appreciate the time God gave us with Radio and always treasure it. But mostly let’s encourage the living, aka Weasel, and make him great again,” Sandra said.
