Rwanda’s Kagame hails Museveni re-election, congratulates Ugandans – Xclusive News

Rwandan President Paul Kagame has congratulated President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on his re-election as President of the Republic of Uganda, describing the outcome as a mandate to continue serving the Ugandan people.

In a congratulatory message, President Kagame extended his best wishes to President Museveni and the people of Uganda, expressing optimism about the country’s future prosperity.

“I extend my best wishes to you and the people of Uganda as you continue to serve your nation for the prosperity of your people,” Kagame said.

The Rwandan leader also pledged his commitment to strengthening bilateral ties, noting that he looks forward to continued strong and productive cooperation between Uganda and Rwanda.

The message highlights ongoing diplomatic engagement between the two neighbouring countries, whose relations are central to regional stability, trade, and security in the Great Lakes region.
