Renowned musician Rema Namakula has addressed allegations of snubbing female artists in music collaborations.
Rema Namakula, one of the top female stars, has had the opportunity to collaborate with various artists, but none of them are female. Speaking during a recent TV interview, the vocalist addressed the misconception, revealing she was open to working with anyone.
She noted that she had had different conversations in the past with some artists about working on a song together, but they always ended there, and everyone went about their business once they parted ways.
She, however, hailed female artists for their hard work and for the fact that they have lately been taking over the industry with amazing songs.
“Me not having a collaboration with them, I don’t know, but it just happened like that. It was not planned, and I did not decide on it, but I’m open to working with anyone. We have had different talks with different artists, but like you know, women, we discuss, and after everyone leaves, we let it go. We just keep reminding ourselves about it, but God willing, you will see something soon,” Rema said.
