Musician Rema Namakula has shut down rumors suggesting that she had a past private relationship with B2C’s Julio
Rema Namakula released her latest jam, ‘Wano Wano’, last week and has been trending not only for the love song but also her connection with Julio, who was acting as the vixen. Their actions on set led fans to believe they had something more than just friendship in the past, because the chemistry they displayed made it more believable.
Rema, during her TV interview, revealed that she also didn’t expect it to happen like that. They were following the script, acting with her sitting on his lap, and were directed to go upstairs when, all of a sudden, Julio carried her. Despite what the media reports, she described Julio as her brother and revealed she enjoyed the shoot with a friend.
“I didn’t know he could carry me like that, but during the shoot he did, and I wanted it captured on camera… told Edrine Paul to rewind and capture the moment. I enjoyed the shoot so much because he is my brother and we were having fun,” he said.

Rema further noted that as artists, they were naturally actors and actresses who were expected to follow the script and fall into character at that moment. She, however, made it known that she would not be doing the same thing in another song.
“When you get into a song, you have to be in character at that moment. If the script was written like that, then that is it because I’m not the scriptwriter or the video director. Another thing, these come naturally when you are with your friend because you know yourselves well. It is easy to blend in,” she said.
