Veteran musician Red Banton has revealed that the late Mowzey Radio appeared to him in his dreams on numerous occasions regarding his last funeral rites (Lumbe), which have yet to take place.
The late Radio succumbed to injuries seven years back following a bar brawl. Red Banton, while speaking in a YouTube interview, confirmed having encountered the deceased in his dreams numerous times. In one of the dreams, the ‘Nonya Money’ hitmaker claimed they were at Nanganda near the Goodlyfe home when Radio appeared to him, smartly dressed in his famous army shoes.
In the other encounter, Red Banton also alleged that the Radio gave him a song that he says is still in progress and will release it the moment it is finalized.
He has constantly been redirecting me towards holding his Lumbe in my dreams. He was pleased, told me he was okay where he was, and bid me farewell. In another dream, I was on my way to the lake, looking for a way to get there. He arrived in a big car, wearing a sleeveless shirt, and told me he would give me a lift. He took me to my destination, and after he left,”
The singer believes he gets the dreams about the deceased because he wants his last funeral rites to be performed so that he can finally rest peacefully.
“Maybe he also appears to many other people who prefer not to come to the camera. But I want his lumber to get out of the way. Maybe he appears to me in my dreams because of that,”

Red Baton called upon the deceased’s baby mama, Lilian Mbabazi, and businessman Bryan White to ensure the traditional ceremony takes place on the date of his celebration next year.
“I spoke to Bryan White about it, and he said he still had his business to handle and he would sort it out. He said he didn’t want to hold a small event, so he was preparing for it. I want it to get out of the way,”
