Ray G Calls on Fans to Stop Harassing Omega 256 After Her Appearance at Kakyeka Concert

Date:

Western Ugandan-based musician Ray G, real name Muhairwe Reegan, called upon his fans to stop harassing Omega 256 on social media.

Ray G had a concert over the weekend at Kakyeeka Stadium, and Omega 256 was among the fellow artists who came through to show their support.

Initially, the two have had a silent feud, with Omega snubbing Ray G’s Lugogo Cricket Oval, with several artists from the West supporting him, but not Omega. Since then, they have silently battled for supremacy in Western Uganda.

The two artists, however, decided to put their differences aside and support each other. Ray G made a surprise appearance at Omega’s maiden concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval. To return the favor, Omega, too, travelled to Kakyeeka Stadium to support him.

When Omega stepped on stage, the deejay tried to mess with the sound until Ray G noticed and walked towards him to have a chat. She finished her performance successfully and left the stage.

When Ray G got back on the microphone, he begged his fans to stop harassing Omega on social media by putting negative comments on her posts.

Despite whatever happened between them, Ray G revealed he had moved past that and was ready to continue supporting her music. He also advised her to stage a concert in her home area, promising that people would come and help her because she is talented.

I urge all of us to support Onega. She is one of our own and very talented. I would love to see her stage a concert at Kakaako soon. If someone makes a mistake, please forgive and forget all those social media rumours. Let us focus on promoting our own talent and keeping the fire in Nkore Music burning,
