Renowned rapper Gravity Omutujju, real name Gereson Wabuyi, and his team on Saturday, 29 November, survived a deadly car accident.
The accident happened in Buhweju while the rapper and his team were traveling to perform at President Museveni’s political campaign rallies.
Gravity and his camp were traveling in a Toyota Hiace Super Custom when the driver reportedly lost control, causing the car to veer off the road and hit a roadside hill.
There was no bodily harm recorded, and Gravity Omutujju expressed gratitude to God for giving him and his team another chance at life.
The car sustained damage to its front, with the front windshield cracked, the driver’s window shattered, and the lights damaged.

Uganda Police responded swiftly to the accident and worked hand in hand with the rapper to remove the car to avoid affecting traffic flow.
