Singer Rahma Pinky Nanyanza has shared her long-held dream of becoming a lawyer.
During a media interview, Rahma Pinky opened up about her academic journey, revealing that she initially enrolled for a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology but lost interest after two semesters, saying she had been pushed into pursuing a course she never liked.
She revealed that her dream was to major in Literature or study law, and, with the results she got, she believed they could easily get her what she wanted.
“It was not what I wanted. I told myself I had the results to get the course I wanted because I had all my principal and subsidiary passes to do the course I loved, but they gave me what I didn’t like, and I refused it.
My mind wasn’t widening because I was doing the same things I’d done before. Maybe if I went further, I would have gone deep with the course, but I didn’t give myself a chance,” she said.
Contrary to those who opt for law after facing injustices, Pinky explained that her dream of becoming a lawyer stems from her confidence and the belief that she could easily ace it in the courtroom. She hopes to pursue Law in the near future because she is not considering music forever.

“I feel I have the favor to talk and have people listen. I feel like I can raise a point in the courtroom. Haven’t faced any form of injustices, and I don’t think I can allow myself to be in such a situation because I argue a lot,” she said.
