Rachel K Reveals How Her Journey Into Gospel Music Influenced Her Dressing

Date:

Musician Rachel K has revealed that her decision to transition from secular to gospel has changed many things, including her fashion choices.

Having tasted fame at an early age, Rachel K revealed that society expected them to dress in a particular way that it considered appealing to their crowds.

During an interview, she described such beliefs as societal pressure that ultimately forced them to adhere to them to avoid being left behind.

She, however, reveals that she got to a point during her transition where she felt God’s conviction telling her to stop dressing indecently.

She encouraged fellow female artists who were pressured by the industry to follow her steps, as they would still be accepted despite covering up their bodies.

It was just a matter of time before God said, “Enough is enough.” When I became Born Again, I had to change the way I dress. I had to be modest, and I want people to know that you can be modest and still be respectful. You could still be loved, perform, and make money. You don’t need to show too much skin because when you do, you lose a little bit of respect.

It’s been close to a year since Rachel K announced her powerful move from secular music to gospel, and she revealed that it has been smooth so far.
