For a while now, rumors have swirled about a falling-out between Bebe Cool and renowned music producer Rinex.
Many believe the tension arose when Rinex began collaborating with Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool’s long-standing musical rival.
The nature of their strained relationship remained unclear until Rinex recently addressed the matter during an appearance on Sanyuka Bigenda Bitya show.
Speaking candidly, Rinex made it clear he has no regrets about working with Bobi Wine and sees no reason to apologize to the “Wire Wire” singer.
“I don’t need Bebe Cool to forgive me for anything,I didn’t commit a crime. So why would he need to forgive me?”,Rinex said.
Rinex, known for his extensive work with various Ugandan artists, rejected the notion that producing for Bobi Wine amounted to betrayal.
“Working with Bobi Wine isn’t a crime. If Bebe Cool had taken me to school or taught me production, maybe then it would be different. But I taught myself.”,he disclosed
He emphasized his independence as a producer, stating that his priority is professionalism, not personal loyalties.
“I’m a producer for musicians. I don’t need anyone’s validation, and I owe no one an apology. I do things my way.”,he said.
As for the current state of his relationship with Bebe Cool, Rinex confirmed that their professional ties have been severedand likely won’t be restored.
“I can’t say the working relationship still exists. He has other producers now. I don’t think he’ll come back to work with me because I’ve produced for Bobi Wine.”
