Veteran music producer Did, real name Abdul Karim Muchwa, has revealed that he harbours no grudge against a woman who infected him with HIV.
Producer Didi remains one of the celebrated music producers Uganda has ever had with an impressive catalogue og hits crafted for some of the biggest names in the industry, including Eddy Kenzo, Sweet Kid, Sizza Manand, Gift Ov Kaddo, Coco Finger, among others.
Unfortunately, he contracted HIV and, in one of his most recent interviews, revealed that he learned to live positively with it as part of his journey to a healthy and long life.
He added that he bears no resentment towards the woman involved, as he believes it wasn’t intentional and wasn’t paid to spread the virus.
Didi also cautioned against intentionally transmitting diseases, warning that such actions can lead to guilt, mental distress, and the destruction of one’s peace of mind, even if the intended victims survive.

The producer’s revelation comes following his rehabilitation discharge, where he spent nearly a year restoring his mental well-being.
