Pretty Nicole was brought to the Kawempe Police Station this week on charges of extortion against Hajat Kulthum Nabunya and her husband Akram Gumisiriza.
The incident follows an audio recording that was leaked last week in which Nicole was heard plotting to blackmail Akram, Kulthum’s husband. Nicole is said to have encouraged her friends to get in touch with Akram so they could get compromising footage of him and use it as leverage to demand money for ransom from him.
Hajat Kulthum and Pretty Nicole used to have a much deeper relationship in which Kulthum helped her through her tough moments, which included securing a scholarship for Nicole.
In an act of kindness, Kulthum even covered Nicole’s school dues and requirements while she was having financial difficulties. Nevertheless, the effort at blackmail broke this link.
In response to the entire scenario seen on camera, Kulthum said she was shocked that someone she had cared for could turn against her and try to end her marriage. When Nicole was forced to write Kulthum an apology letter at the police station, vowing never to hurt or attack her again, the situation came to an end.
