Pretty Banks Reveals Why She Has No Plans of Returning to School Despite Senior Four Dropout Status

Date:

Musician Pretty Banks has ruled out the possibility of returning to school to earn her degree, citing that she was too old to concentrate in class.

Pretty Banks, during her appearance in a TV interview, was tasked with mentioning the job she would be doing if she weren’t a musician. She revealed that she would have loved to be a lawyer, but couldn’t have made it, given that she is an S.4 dropout.

I dropped out in S.4, but it was what I had wanted to do while I was still in school. It was my dream career, but look at me here making music.

When asked whether she had any hopes of going back to school, Pretty Banks emphasized that she would be pursuing other activities aligned with her career. However, she wouldn’t opt for full-time classes, therefore ruling out the possibility of going back to finish secondary school.

I may do other things, but not the usual stuff of going to school daily. I’m not going back to high school. If I’m to continue my education, I will look for a course that aligns with what I’m doing now and can add to my art. I don’t think I can go back to school and wait for UNEB. My brain is too grown so I cannot concentrate anymore.
