Premier Distilleries Offers Cash, Motorcycles in 25th-Anniversary Promotion

Premier Distilleries celebrates its 25th anniversary with the “Bikole Masavu” rewards campaign, offering over 500 million shillings in prizes to loyal customers.

KAMPALA, UGANDA — Premier Distilleries Limited, a pioneer in the country’s alcoholic beverage industry, has launched a consumer rewards campaign to celebrate its 25th anniversary, offering customers a chance to win cash, motorcycles and other prizes.

The “Bikole Masavu” campaign, which runs from August through November, will give away over 500 million Ugandan shillings (approximately $134,000) worth of prizes to loyal customers. The promotion centers on the company’s flagship Coffee Flavored Vodka and Simba Gin.

Ugandan beverage maker Premier Distilleries launches a new promotion giving away cash, motorcycles, and other prizes to celebrate a quarter-century of business.

Prizes include a grand cash prize of 50 million shillings (approximately $13,400), along with motorcycles, televisions and tuk tuks. Customers can participate by purchasing a 200ml bottle of either beverage and checking under the cap for a unique code to text to 6688.

Soma Rushi, the company’s managing director, said the promotion is a way of “giving back to the everyday Ugandan” with “functional prizes they can actually use to improve their livelihoods.”
