Ugandan political analyst and commentator Joseph Tamale Mirundi has passed away. The death of the analyst was released by his fellow analyst Frank Gashumba.
Mirundi has spent his latest days on earth in hospital and under the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) AT Kisubi Hospital, where he has been receiving treatment from since July for undisclosed illness.
“I’m deeply saddened to announce the passing of my friend and colleague, Tamale Mirundi. He was a true giant in the world of political commentary and will be greatly missed,” Frank Gashumba posted on his social media accounts.
Tamale has been battling an unclear disease, however news had recently opened up that he recovering, which was not possible.
