Musician Pallaso has encouraged rising artist Uncle Chumi to make more meaningful friends if she is to make it in the competitive industry.
Uncle Chumi was one of the breakthrough artists last year, and Pallaso, being one of her friends and supporters, couldn’t be prouder. However, he cautioned her that if she wanted to be more successful in the industry, she should focus more on making meaningful friends.
Pallaso, during his recent interview, described Chumi as talented, original, and a hit maker. She has, however, started her career in an era that has no connection to the industry destiny helpers who were once known for helping budding artists make it.
In this musical year, Pallaso advised Chumi to expand her circle by connecting with more people who will add foundation to her career.
I want her to work on making friends with more established people, people who have been in the industry for some time. She has broken through the scene, she is original, she has hit songs, and she is a good person. She is my friend, and I have watched her from the ground up. She has to make more meaningful friends like other people and me to help her learn more from them, he said.
Uncle Chumi nodded in agreement, saying she couldn’t defy what Pallaso had advised her to do. This is because he has always been one of the few people in her corner during hard times.
