Omukunja Atasera Denied Bail After Lil Pazo Files Cyberstalking Complaint

Date:

Musician Mukunja Atasera was detained at Kabalagala Police Station and denied bail following a cyberstalking case opened against him by fellow musician Lil Pazo Lunabe.

While addressing the press, Mukunja’s representative revealed that he had visited the station to bail out his client, but they had unfortunately locked him up for the night. They made him write a statement detailing how he came up with the song insulting Lil Pazo.

“They are basically prosecuting him for being creative and a musician. He is an artist and is being arrested for his job. It’s like for every song that he has, there is a case file. Because they had a lot of files and refused to tell us what it was about. In the end, they refused to let him go on the orders of the Kabalagala OCC.”

Mukunja’s representative revealed that they tried their level best to speak to higher authorities to intervene. Still, the policemen ensured the case was dragged out until the offices they needed to visit had closed for the day.

He vowed to fight and have his client presented before the courts rather than be kept in police cells without trial.
