The growing rift between Western Ugandan artists Ray G and Omega 256 has taken a new turn after Nobat Events, the promoter behind Omega 256’s upcoming concert, accused Ray G of orchestrating a sabotage campaign against the event.
The highly anticipated Omega 256 Concert is set to take place on May 2, 2025, at Lugogo Cricket Oval, one of Uganda’s biggest venues. However, during a recent TikTok live session, Nobat Events alleged that Ray G was actively discouraging people from attending the concert.
“Ray G is doing everything possible to make sure this show flops. He is encouraging his fans to boycott it, and they are filling my comment section, swearing not to attend,” Nobat claimed.
He went on to liken Ray G to a “poisonous snake”, accusing him of pretending to be supportive in public while secretly working against Omega 256.

Despite the threats, Nobat remained defiant, stating that he is unfazed by the negative campaign and that the concert would go on, regardless of the turnout.
“Even if only ten true Omega 256 fans attend, that is enough for me. I don’t care about numbers, I care about real support,” he added.
The alleged rivalry between Omega 256 and Ray G has been an ongoing topic among music fans in Western Uganda, with both artists being viewed as the “King and Queen of the West.” Their growing competition for supremacy has led to constant comparisons and reported tension between their fan bases.
It remains to be seen whether Ray G will respond to these accusations, but for now, the feud appears far from over.
