NIRA & Consular services set to be available at TAA Convention 2026 – Xclusive News

A team from National Identification Registration Authority (NIRA) Uganda is set to offer services at the forthcoming Tooro American Association (TAA) Convention in Dallas, Texas. The convention is slated to take place from May 22nd -25th.

The NIRA service will be free.

“It’s free to the public, it’s convenient, it’s your right, and you will save your time and money. Don’t miss this opportunity. All those within driving distance of the TAA Convention in Dallas, TX—come take advantage of on-site NIRA and Consulate services,” TAA team said.

Services that will be offered are; New National ID Registration, National ID Renewal, ID Replacement, Update of Personal Details and Biometric Capture.

The Consular Services will also be available and they are; New Passport Applications, Passport Renewals, Emergency Travel Documents, Document Certification & Notarization, Dual Citizenship Support, Visa Guidance & Consular Assistance null.

Appointments are strongly encouraged for smoother service although walk-ins are welcome but appointment holders will be prioritized.

Speakers

H.E Ambassador Robie Kakonge is the keynote Speaker at the convention with HRH Princess Ruth Komuntale Farquharson Akiiki as the Guest Speaker to represent the Tooro Kingdom. Tooro Kingdom Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki is also the Guest Speaker at the event while former Miss Uganda contestant Ms Doreen Kabareebe will be a special appearance. Registration is; $230 for adults above 18 years and $100 for young adults 13-18 years.
