Nina Roz’s Father Granted Cash Bail Following Cattle Theft Allegations

Date:

Singer Nina Roz, real name Kankunda Nina, and her father, Mr. Matia Nshemereire, have today, 18 November 2025, been granted bail following charges of cow theft.

Nina’s father was arrested on November 9, 2025, following police investigations linking him to the cattle theft case in Rutunku, Lugusulu Sub-county, an area that borders President Museveni’s farm in Kisozi, Gomba District.

Mr. Matia’s arrest affected Nina Roz’s political endeavors, prompting her to halt her campaign to secure her father’s freedom.

Today, Mr. Matia Nshemereire was arraigned before the Ssembabule Magistrates’ Court, and Judge Jaggwe Raymond granted him UGX 1 million cash bail.
