Nina Roz Says Political Support Must Be Earned, Not Bought

Date:

Musician and politician Nina Roz, real name Nina Kankunda, has announced that she stopped giving out free money to fans ever since she joined politics.

Nina Rox, during her guest appearance on Bruno K’s live broadcast on TikTok, was tasked with answering tricky questions. Failure to do so, as is the norm on the show, means the guest has to pay a certain amount of money to buy her way out.

Nina Roz failed, and when she was told to cash in, the songstress openly declared that she had gone through a transformation and was no longer dishing out free money. To earn a penny from her, one had to work for it or even give her their vote in the forthcoming elections.

Ever since I became a politician, I’ve been very calculative. For anyone to eat my money, you have to work for it and also vote for me,” Nina Roz boldly declared.

A few months back, Nina Roz declared her intention to run for the Sembabule Woman Member of Parliament seat under the National Unity Platform (NUP) in the 2026 general elections.

Upon picking her nomination forms from the party headquarters, Nina revealed she had sacrificed her life, career, privacy, and also invested a significant amount of resources in the campaigns.
