Nina Roz Reveals She Plans to Balance Both Music and Politics, Assuring Fans of More Hits Ahead

Date:

Musician and politician Nina Roz has confirmed that she will not walk away from her career as an artist after she takes office.

Nina Roz is one of the artists vying for a political office, contesting the Sembabule Woman Member of Parliament seat under NUP in the forthcoming elections.

Speaking in a recent interview, Nina Roz assured her fans that she will not be abandoning them, as had been speculated. She noted that she will always be an artist, crediting music for shaping who she is today.

I will remain an artist regardless. I can never abandon music because it has shaped me into the woman I am today. I have so much respect for music, which is why I wish the industry all the best. We can make a lot of money as an industry. Many countries have survived in the creative industry, and it hurts me to see that our industry is in such a state.

Among the challenges Nina says she faced last year was the industry’s disunity, which she says dragged them back. She encouraged unity amongst artists, as it was the only way they would succeed.
