CAF concluded its eight-day inspection tour of the East African co-hosts with a comprehensive visit to Uganda on July 9.

The delegation comprising experts from CAF’s Competitions, Media, Marketing, Broadcast, Infrastructure, and Safety & Security departments was accompanied by members of Uganda’s Local Organising Committee to assess the country’s preparedness.

Namboole Stadium, which has undergone extensive renovations, has been confirmed as one of the key venues for the CHAN finals. CAF commended the Ugandan government and local organisers for their commitment and efficient progress in getting the stadium tournament-ready.
