My talent saved me – Nandor Love speaks out on escaping sexual exploitation in music industry

Date:

Fast-rising musician Nandor Love has opened up on how she has survived the rampant sexual abuse cases against female artists by producers.

A number of female artists, especially when starting, have come out to share their different experiences and encounters with the male producers who offer to help them in exchange for sexual favors.

During an interview with Galaxy TV, Nandor Love, while addressing the issue, revealed that she hasn’t yet encountered such awkward moments because her talent has saved her a great deal.

Producers often take advantage of these artists because they cannot write their songs or possess a basic understanding of how music works. In her defense, she is a songwriter and an instrumentalist, and with such talent, she could easily advise a producer on what she wants.

Have survived all that familiarity, disrespect, and nonsense because God blessed me with so much talent. I can write my own songs, play the piano, and have what it takes to advise a producer on what I want and what I need him to delete.

I have those brains and intellect, which makes it hard for a producer to take advantage of me. Most of them are tricked with songwriting, but they cannot do that to me. I write all my songs, leaving no gap for you to keep close to me,” she said.

I have heard those stories, and I want to caution producers to leave young artists alone. Get someone and date them if you want, but do not take advantage of young artists in the name of working for them. If you want something more, ask them politely.

There is nothing more annoying than a man you do not love touching you. It is so disgusting, and I wish men knew that, she said.
