Music is not comedy – Ziza Bafana warns Uncle Chumi after Artin disrespect

Date:

Musician Ziza Bafana has advised rising musician Uncle Chumi to take her new career path seriously if she wants to be successful.

Uncle Chumi became famous on TikTok because of her comedy and outspoken nature before she ventured into music. Her very first music project was ‘Gwokutte Gwoba’, which enjoyed massive airplay, and since then, she has been making news for the wrong reasons.

Ziza Bafana, during an interview appearance, called out Uncle Chumi for her disturbing behavior, which involves tarnishing people’s brands. In his submission, the dancehall artist advised Chumi to consider leaving comedy out of her music career if she wished to be a successful artist who would be highly regarded in the industry.

“I want to advise Chumi to take comedy out of music. She started as a comedian and created content, but her comedy was about disrespecting and insulting other people. You think you are joking, but people take your statements seriously. I know Artin’s taste in women because I know his wife. Based on what he does and his lifestyle, you cannot find him in such a way,” he said.

Ziza Bafana’s statement comes following Chumi’s recent allegations that Artin Pro touched her inappropriately during one of their studio sessions. A number of artists and celebrities have come out to condemn her character towards fellow artists and deejays.

Mudra described Artin Pro as a very ‘cool guy’, and he was hurt about the magnitude of the allegations made by Chumi towards him.

“I felt so bad. There is a new form of defamation that people are engaging in; they do it intentionally because they believe it doesn’t cost them. People take it lightly, but soon, we will see the industry wasting away,” Mudra revealed.
