Mun G Links Industry Beefs to Depression, Urges Artists to Focus on Positivity

Date:

Rapper Mun G has opened up on the importance of staying away from industry feuds, noting that it helps protect one’s reputation.

In an interview with Sanyuka TV, Mun G explained that fights with fellow artists not only affect their craft but also have a significant impact on their relations with other people who may still be dealing with the artists they hate.

Having worked in a corporate world and dealt with reputable brands, the rapper revealed that they rarely employ people whose image is marred by controversy. Mum G, therefore, avoids fights to maintain a good working relationship with the brands that employ him.

“I have worked so much with the corporate world, and image is very important to them. You cannot explain how good you are, but your actions can.”

Mun G explained that before a company gives any artist a brand ambassadorial deal, they first do due diligence to find out if they are involved in any scandals. By the time they contact them, they are comfortable with their findings.

“I avoid fights to save the image of the brands I work with because everywhere I go, I represent them. All this chaos affects them,” he said.

Mun G also revealed that he avoids feuds and beefs because they are the leading cause of artists going into depression.

“Imagine you are going through a lot and watch your hater on TV attacking you and yet doing better than you,” he noted.
