A prominent Hoima-based businessman has been discovered dead under mysterious circumstances in Masindi District. David Mucunguzi, a retailer known for operating a shop at the Hoima taxi park, was found lifeless inside his Toyota Premio in Buliima Town Council.

The 38-year-old, a resident of Kihemba village in Buhanika sub-county, was reported missing on June 30 after failing to return home from work. Concerned relatives alerted Hoima Central Police, triggering a search.
According to Albertine Region Police spokesperson Julius Hakiza, Mucunguzi’s body was located inside his parked vehicle on Tuesday. Authorities transported the body to Hoima City Mortuary for a postmortem to establish the exact cause of death.
