Might Family’s Sam Okanya Finally Set Free, Court Dismisses His Case

Renown comedian Sam Okanya commonly known as Sammy of Da Mighty Family has been finally set free by the Buganda road court.

Sammy was remanded to earlier this year following his arrest in July, comedian turned self proclaimed Freedom-fighter Sammy Okanya hast spent over 4 months at Kitalya Prison.

Sammy was detained at Kitalya Prison, having been arrested earlier this year in July as he participated in the #March2Parliament protests. 

Sammy was first kept in police custody for over a week, then later remanded  when he appeared for bail application was asked to produce a passport that he didn’t have.
