Kabale-In a significant leadership transition, Michael Muramira Kyakashari has officially assumed office as the new Deputy Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Kabale District, replacing Christopher Aine in a ceremony held at the Deputy RDC’s office on Makanga Hill, Kabale Municipality.
Outgoing Deputy RDC Christopher Aine thanked the Kabale district leadership for their unwavering support throughout his term. He hailed the strong cooperation he enjoyed with district stakeholders, crediting the cordial working relationship for achieving numerous service milestones in the region.

Kyakashari, who previously served in Hoima City for three years, brings to Kabale a depth of experience in public administration. In his inaugural address, he decried divisive identity politics, particularly those along religious lines, warning that such divisions threaten the unity of the Kigezi sub-region. He pledged to serve impartially and focus on effective service delivery, especially during the current political season.

Speaking at the handover, Ronald Mutegeki, the Chief Administrative Officer of Kabale, called on Kyakashari to maintain integrity and unity. He emphasized that service delivery must remain the top priority and cautioned against being influenced by political agendas.
