Local comedian MC Mariachi’s daughter, Shakirah, over the weekend held a successful Kukyala ceremony with her fiancé.
After six years of dating, Shakirah and her fiancé embarked on a new chapter in their relationship, committing to each other with a Kukyala ceremony.
The ceremony follows the couple’s engagement last month in July, where Shakirah thanked God for blessing her with a supportive man.
As part of their marriage officiating process, Shakirah hosted her fiancé at her parents’ home to express his intentions to marry.
Following the successful ceremony, the couple is expecting to hold their introduction ceremony, which would lead to their wedding.
