MC Kats demands for accountability from Eddy Kenzo’s UNMF for money meant for Fille’s treatment

Date:

Media personality and events host MC Kats has called out the Uganda National Musicians Association (UNMF) led by Eddy Kenzo to give accountability of the funds they were meant to give him and Fille.

In a now deleted post on his X/Twitter account, MC Kats, real name Edwin Katamba shared a photo of a bedridden Fille without stating whether it was current or from the past. He, however, expresses his frustration, tagging the UNMF and accusing them of lying to him and Fille about giving them financial aid.

Kats revealed that the federation had promised to give 10 million and 15 million to him and Fille respectively but till this day, they have never received any money.

He called out the government demanding that they task everyone responsible to give them accountability of the money they keep giving out but doesn’t get to the rightful owners.

I say protect the gains; I don’t mean we got through the pain. I mean people are given government money to protect the gains but take it. So, UNMF, you gave Fille 15M and 10M to me; where did we ever get the money? Can’t the government bring people to account or you want grave yards?

When Fille was battling a strong addiction in rehab, Eddy Kenzo revealed that they were actively involved in her recovery and doing everything they could to ensure she got better.

This sparked speculation that she had received financial support from the federation, a claim she strongly denied during her TV interview. She emphasized that she only got help from the people who cared about her well-being.
