Black Magic Entertainment singer Martha Mukisa has opened up about juggling her roles as a musician and a first-time mother.
Martha Mukisa announced the birth of her first child, a baby girl, in May this year, following months of keeping her pregnancy private.
Contrary to the common belief that musicians and first-time moms struggle to juggle their new lives, Martha Mukisa revealed that she has had a relatively smooth experience.
The Blackmagic Entertainment singer recounts that the transition to her new role as a mother was not only a blessing, but it also unlocked a new level of responsibility.

This meant that she had to step up and handle both her career and a household before acknowledging her faith in God and her strength as a woman.
“As women, God blessed us with the ability to do different things at different times. That is why, in the household, you are busy with all sorts of things. We are multitaskers. God blessed me with a baby, and I’m grateful to be both a celebrity and a hardworking woman. With all this on my table, I had to find a way to strike a balance. I keep on asking for wisdom and knowledge from him to see that I can raise a good child, take my music career forward, and also stay on top,” she said.
Martha has smoothly navigated the new challenge and is already back in the studio with her latest single, ‘Nina Anjagala,’ which was released this month.
