Manager Nasser has responded to David Lutalo’s claims that he continued to take bookings under his name despite not having a working agreement in place.
Earlier this week, Lutalo was trending on social media after he personally shared his private number, asking his fans to book him directly rather than through anyone else.
Following the backlash, he explained that he did that because there were people, particularly his former managers, who were still taking bookings under his name and fleecing his fans of their money despite parting ways.
Among those he pinpointed was Nasser, with whom he stopped working closely more than two years ago over financial issues.
Lutalo’s statements didn’t sit well with Nasser, who, during an interview to debunk the rumors, claimed the singer was tarnishing his name. Nasser revealed that they ended their working relationship in 2024, and he thought they would still respect each other.
He, however, was disappointed to hear that Lutalo was tarnishing his name and calling him a thief. This, he claimed, was ruining the brand he had spent years building, and he would not take it lightly the next time it happened.
“Do you know how much this hurts for people to stain my brand for mistakes I didn’t make? If I added something onto you and you realized it wasn’t enough, it doesn’t make sense for you to ruin me. I eat from my name, and I worked hard for it before he even came on the scene; it is because of the brand that he hired me; now he wants to destroy me,” he said.

Nasser further revealed that he was willing to give his version of events the next time Lutalo accuses him without providing evidence.
“Next time he wants to talk about me, he should provide evidence for everything. I will do the same, and we will see who was wrong. I want everyone to know that I have no attachment to that man. Don’t ever deal with me on matters concerning him. I have other jobs, I’m a leader and a father. But everywhere I pass, they claim I’m a thief. For my name, I’m very ready. We all get setbacks at work, but don’t make me a scapegoat,” Manager Nasser said.
