Lydia Jazmine Says No Man Built Her Career: I’ve Been Standing Alone for 12 Years

Date:

Musician Lydia Jazmine has dismissed the support of men for her career, saying she has been standing on her own since day one.

While addressing the press, Lydia Jazmine hailed women for working hard and sharing their journeys, explaining how hard she had toiled over the years.

Unlike other societal beliefs that claim women in the music industry have always relied on men for financial support to boost their careers, Lydia Jazmine says her journey to where she is now was entirely her own power and energy.

“If I told you my journey to where I am now, I think it is entirely and fiercely my power and energy. Apart from God, I do not have people behind me like most artists.

I don’t have a man behind me who built my career. I have been that woman standing by myself. I have fought for over 12 years now; it is not easy, but I’m a strong and bold woman,” she said.
