Renowned digital creator Luwi Light has been remanded to Luzira Prison over misinformation and hate speech.
A few days ago, Luwi was arrested and detained by the police following negative remarks she shared on her social media platforms.
According to reports, Bebe Cool quietly showed up at the Police station, where he recorded a statement regarding the case.
She was arraigned before the Makindye court, where she was accused of misinformation and hate speech about Bebe Cool’s wife, Zuena Kirema’s cake brand “Zuena Cakes.”

Luwi Light was subsequently remanded to Luzira Prison and is expected to reappear on 21 January 2026 as investigations regarding her case intensify.
