Singer Lilian Mbabazi has revealed that her late partner, Mowzey Radio, had advised her to explore other genres of music besides the usual soft ballads that she was known for.
Before he died, Mowzey Radio had advised Lilian Mbabazi to stop doing soul music and jump on the trending music, but she refused.
Lilian acknowledged that they initially had a conversation with the late Radio, who, on a couple of occasions, wrote songs that he wanted her to sing. She, however, chose to stick to her own path because it was her passion.
Of course, we had that discussion, but at the end of the day, as an artist, you have what you like. He was like that, too. He would write those songs for me and tell me to sing them, but somehow, they became big songs. I had to balance it by doing his songs and also my own taste.

In her catalogue, some of the songs that she says suited Radio’s taste were Danger, Vitamin, Ddagala, and Memories ft A Pass.
