Musician Laika Music, real name Laika Umuhoza, has opened up about her love life, hinting at her ideal preferences when it comes to dating.
During a media interview, Laika explained why she has continued to keep her relationships private. She revealed that she felt she was not yet at that stage and would only show her man to the world if he made it official.
When tasked to describe the kind of man she would want, Laika noted that she would desire a man who accepted her for who she was and the nature of the job she does.
As a musician and a very attractive woman, Laika acknowledged that she attracts attention from different men. Instead of getting jealous, she revealed that she would want her man to understand and be able to deal with this fact.
They all know but don’t know the reality. I’m a public figure, a beautiful woman who gets attention from different people. So, you have to be able to deal with that, she said.
Laika further explained that she has a different side from what she portrays in the media. From her conversations online, some people have painted a picture that is very different from what she is in real life.

She, however, welcomes a man who would love her for who she is and not have high expectations going by what they see in the media.
A man who can support me, understand what I’m doing, and who can date the real me. not that fantasy they see. Don’t have expectations. Half of the time I say things for propaganda and am vibing on TV or social media. I don’t even mean some of that stuff. Laika is a normal person at home, she said.
