Dancehall musician King Micheal has opened up on the intense moments during the battle of the famous big three artists, Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine, and Jose Chameleone, that saw them acquire guns.
King Michael, while speaking in a YouTube interview, narrated that the battle for supremacy between the three artists was intense, and they had to resort to firearms for protection against their rivals.
He revealed that the trend was started by veteran artist Ragga Dee, who always flaunted his gun, cautioning his opponents not to mess with him.
This, however, turned ugly when he visited Lido Beach with his gun to have fun and, in the process, got into an argument with Red Banton.
Red Banton accused Ragga Dee of pointing a gun at him. He said this because he knew Ragga Dee had the gun with him at that moment. Ragga was a very principled man who didn’t just pull it out. He just cautioned people that he would pull it out if they played with him. He didn’t do anything to him, but he claimed he had threatened him,” he said.
It was at this point that King Michael said the government started disarming artists out of fear of them hurting each other. He revealed that at this point, he was close to acquiring his piece because he had a brewing feud with Jose Chameleone.

“I was also in the process of acquiring mine, and I was to get it in a week, but we were stopped. This was when my feud with Jose Chameleone was brewing. My dream was to shoot in the air before Chameleone to threaten him. I had no intentions of harming him, but I wanted to show him that I had one too,” he said.
