The exciting news was made known to the public by the newly appointed KCCA Executive Director, Buzaki Sharifah, who revealed that the grand opening launch and the festival date will be unveiled on 6th August 2025 at City Hall.

According to Buzaki, the festival will not only be an event but a platform used to honour innovation, culture, creativity, and community spirit that defines Kampala City.

It is not just about fun. It’s about coming together as a city, recognizing how far we’ve come, and renewing our collective commitment to building a cleaner and more liveable Kampala,” she added.
