Former presidential candidate John Katumba has hint again on returning in politics with a new political party ahead of the 2026 general elections. Katumba says that he last contested for the presidential seat as an independent candidate and it affected his bid for the big position in this country.
Katumba affiliated his failure to get very many votes and support of the youths since most of them prefer voting for people who are under political parties. The youngest presidential runner of the 2021 general elections says he wasn’t experienced by then and had no intensive knowledge in politics.
He was however contented though he did not win the race, claiming that he got famous amongst Ugandans. Katumba says that he was appreciated that’s why he managed to grab the votes he got from the entire elections.
Katumba says that he now has a new political party dubbed National Revival Coalition (NRC) and he believes that he will be able to stand out with victory since he is now under a political party.
“I now have a political party and it is called National Revival Coalition, I heard that a political party can bring you together and without it, you are nothing“, Katumba added.
