The Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga has praised singer Carol Nantongo and endorsed her concert slated for this week on the 6th of December at Hotel Africana. Katikkiro made the statements when Nantongo visited him at Bulange, Mengo to invite him to her forthcoming concert.
The Buganda Premier was glad to welcome her and this was reflected in his remarks about the way she executes her talent. Mayiga said that for the time he has known Nantongo, from the very first song she has remained steadfast and disciplined.

He added that there are some musicians he’s observed who even come on stage while drunk. This has never been the case with the Kamese Tambula singer. He applauded her for being decent and promised to come through if his schedule allows.
“I want to applaud Carol for being disciplined ever since she got into the music industry. You don’t hear her in unnecessary scandals like some other artists who even come on stage while drunk. She has my full blessings and support for her concert,” he said.
On the other hand, the singer said that since she’s a Muganda woman, she had to go to her ancestral roots and seek blessings ahead for the concert. Furthermore, she revealed that if the Katikkiro does come through, he will be the guest of Honor.
