Kapeke trashes Ava Peace’s top artists list, says she picked “shisha buddies” over real talent

Date:

Musician Kapeke has rubbished Ava Peace’s list of the top five artists she thinks are doing well in the music industry.

Ava Peace, while appearing for an exclusive interview a few days back, was tasked to name her favorite artists currently. Placing herself on top of the list, she named Jowy Landa, Winnie Nwagi, Pretty Banks, and Dax Vibes in that order.

When Kapeke was asked for his opinion about the list, he dismissed it, saying Ava Peace only mentioned her close friends, not because of their talent. He expressed his disappointment about not being on her list, as he feels his music is good, and he has the talent.

She listed her friends with whom she takes shisha. I know she hangs out with Jowy Landa, Pretty Banks, and everyone that she included on her list. She is my friend, surprisingly, but I do not blame her, as when mentioning artists, you often start with your close friends. But I know she knows that my music is top-notch,” she said.

When asked about his favorite artists, Kapeke, as usual, put himself at the top of the list, also noting how Ava Peace had a spot.

Surprisingly, when I list my top five best artists, Ava Peace has a spot. But if I’m not on her list, it means she included her friends she plays with. My list has Kapeke, Ava Peace, Dax Vibes, Elijah Kitaka, and Joshua Baraka,” he said.
