Musician Kapeke has opened up on the reason as to why he prefers working with fellow male musicians over the female gender.
Kapeke, real name Derrick Nsubuga, during a TV interview, explained that working with female artists tends to distract him and also makes it difficult for him to focus.
According to the ‘Kappa’ hitmaker, working with fellow men is, in most cases, less complicated and well-structured.
Whereas collaborating with women hinders his productivity and affects his focus on the music, as he claims he could easily ‘mess up’.

Throughout his career, Kapeke has teamed up with just a few female artists, including Sheebah Karungi on “Kawuna” and Spice Diana, whom he considers a favorite and hopes to collaborate with.

I do not like working with women so much because I might mess up. I avoid being around distractions that is why I love working with my boys. Unless when we are dealing on the phone but being in the same space with her, cannot go well, he said.
