Kapeke Describes Flight to Dubai as a Heavenly Experience, Claims Their Worst Village Beats Our Best

Date:

Ugandan musician Kapeke, real name Derrick Nsubuga, has shared his first plane ride, noting it was nothing short of heavenly.

Kapeke over the weekend was booked to perform in Dubai and upon his return, he couldn’t wait to narrate to his fans how it felt like being away from home. Being his first flight abroad, the ‘ Tema Ensingo’ hitmaker revealed it was the best experience he has ever had.

Breaking it down, Kapeke described Dubai as a ‘ heaven on earth’ not mainly because of the fancy buildings but also the vibrant lifestyle lived by the people in the big city.

It was like a dream. It felt like I was in heaven when I stepped in Dubai. This was my personal experience and every good thing I have ever dreamt about was in Dubai. It was my flight, and I had always dreamt of all these luxurious things in heaven; they were in Dubai.

Kapeke, when comparing his experience in Dubai to the way of life back in Uganda, noted that they weren’t similar. If it wasn’t for his booming music career or his huge fanbase back at home, he would have considered relocating to get a different feel about life.

I cannot even compare it to any place in Uganda because even the worst village in Dubai is better than Munyonyo here. I just saw the city and then compared it with ours, I lost it.  Our leaders keep saying they are beautifying the city here but it’s nothing.

If every Ugandan got a chance to fly out to that place, they would never return. I wouldn’t have come back if I didn’t have an industry to rule and a fanbase to give music. But what I’ve seen so far has been massive.
