Kapa Cat Calls Out Aaronx, Terms Apology to Bebe Cool ‘Cowardly’

Date:

Dancehall artist Kapa Cat has expressed her disappointment in fellow musician Aaronx for apologizing to Bebe Cool for his recent comments.

Kapa Cat, while appearing on Galaxy TV, unapologetically called out Aaronx, questioning why he would bow down to pressure from Bebe Cool’s fans. She emphasized that as an artist with a couple of hit songs, he was entitled to his opinion without any intimidation.

She revealed that Aaronx’s actions not only disappointed his fans who believed in him but also tarnished his brand to the point where everyone around him began to view him as someone who doesn’t keep his word.

Giving herself as an example, Kapa Cat noted that she always defends her statements, citing her recent comments on Spice Diana’s dancehall songs as a recent example. She revealed that Spice Gadgets consistently flood her comment section with insults, but vowed she would never retract her statements because she believes she was right.

“I’m not trying to support disrespect, but you are entitled to your opinion because you are an artist with a hit song. You create, so you have a right to think otherwise. How dare you come out in front of all the fans that believe in you and say you were camera excited? Do you know what you did to everyone who believed in you? You are entitled; at least apologize for bad language, but not saying you were camera excited.

You’re unsure of your brand; who will believe and follow you when you don’t even believe in yourself? That was a very wrong move, and you should correct it,” she said.

Kapa Cat confessed to being a massive fan of Aaronx, revealing that she lost morale when she saw his apology video.

“Stick to your word because you weren’t drunk. If you didn’t like it then you didn’t. If I was following you, I would have unfollowed you because I don’t like my artist being unserious and intimidated. It hurt me so much because he has a good voice and is talented but that statement drained all that out of me. The problem is they do not think things through before saying. Say something you can defend,” she said.

Recently, Aaronx appeared in a YouTube interview claiming that Bebe Cool’s new album didn’t cross borders. This caused an uproar, especially amongst Gagamelians, who threatened to boycott his music over disrespecting their idol. Out of panic, Aaronx apologized, blaming his statements on camera excitement.
