Musician Kalifah Aganaga has called out fellow singer Alien Skin, accusing him of taking his party’s money and failing to perform at his rallies as agreed.
Kalifah, who was the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) flag bearer in the Kawempe North by-elections, had wanted Alien Skin to perform at his nomination ceremony to rally more support for him. Given their then friendship, Kalifah claimed he had requested money from his party, who agreed to pay Ugx 3 million for an artist to perform.
The Bad Character star revealed that he met Alien Skin in Munyonyo and, upon agreement, paid him a 2 million deposit.
To his surprise, however, Alien Skin didn’t show up the next day of the rally as agreed, and when he tried calling him, he refused to pick up and later blacklisting his number.
As a party, we needed artists, and we agreed to pay 3 million dollars for each rally. We didn’t want to exploit them because politics affects them. I spoke to Alien Skin, and I gave him a deposit of 2 million out of the 3. I waited for him the next day, but he didn’t show up and wasn’t picking up his calls either.
Kalifah revealed that he decided to let it go, and when the next rally was scheduled, he still considered him. He narrated that he visited Alien Skin’s home and even met his mother, and that on that day they agreed he would receive more money for his performance at the rally. He still didn’t appear for the next one despite receiving the payment.

I waited for another rally, and I asked him to come. We agreed that I would forget the first payment and make a new one. He still didn’t come.
The elections happened earlier this year, and Kalifah revealed he had chosen not to address the issue until recently, when he was provoked. He noted that his revelation came from anger after Aline Skin allegedly leaked their private conversations online amid their feud.
