Kabuye Ssemboga To Celebrate 42 Years Of Music At Serena Hotel

Legendary Ugandan musician Kabuye Ssemboga is set to celebrate 42 years in the music industry with a grand concert at Kampala Serena Hotel on May 23, 2025.

The event, organized by Balunywa Promotions, promises an unforgettable night of music, featuring an all-star lineup and world-class production.

Speaking at a press conference held  at Kampala Serena Hotel, Juma Balunywa, the representative of Balunywa Promotions, described the upcoming show as a historic moment for Ugandan music.

He noted that the concert would honor Kabuye Semboga’s rich musical legacy by delivering an authentic, high-quality live performance experience.

During the press conference, Kabuye Semboga promised fans a live-band performance featuring his greatest hits, including “Ebisanyi,” “Kangume,” “Sheila,” and “Fahima.”

He emphasized that the concert would be a nostalgic journey through his four-decade career and an opportunity for fans to relive some of Uganda’s most iconic songs.

Joining him on stage will be some of Uganda’s biggest music stars, including Aziz Azion, Betty Mpologoma, Mesach Ssemakula, Geoffrey Lutaaya and Bruno K among others , with organisers promising surprise acts.

During the press briefing, several industry figures, including Mesach Ssemakula, Aziz Azion, Bruno K, Abbey Mukiibi, Biggie Events, and Joanita Kawalya were present to give company to the legendary musician.

According to the organiser, revelers are assured of  top-tier production with state-of-the-art sound, lighting, and stage design to create an immersive experience but also noted  that a full live band would accompany the performances, ensuring an authentic and rich musical delivery.

Tickets will go for shs150,000 while a table for eight will go for shs3million

With decades of timeless music and a strong fan base, Kabuye Semboga remains one of Uganda’s most cherished artists.
