JUST IN; Security Agencies Raid Bobi Wine’s Beach In Busabala

Tensions flared in Uganda as security forces raided One Love Beach, a popular venue owned by opposition figure Bobi Wine, and located in Busabala. Witnesses report a heavy presence of police and military personnel who forcibly entered the premises, allegedly cutting CCTV camera feeds and detaining employees. 

According to a statement shared on Kyagulanyi’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, security forces broke through the gates of the popular beach premises and entered by force.

Kyagulanyi further alleged that employees were rounded up by the armed personnel, while some, seeking refuge from the commotion, were targeted with tear gas in the kitchen area.

“Police and military have raided our premises at one Love beach-Busabala, broken the gates and entered by force. our CCTV cameras have been cut offand our employees are being rounded up,” Kyagulanyi said.

The motive for the operation has not yet been officially communicated by authorities, and attempts to contact police and military representatives for a statement were unsuccessful at the time of publication.
