The Uganda Police Force has announced recruitment of 434 Probationer Police Constable Drivers.
This is contained in a press statement issued late on Wednesday, 25th June, 2025 by AIGP Jesse Kamunanirwe on behalf of the Inspector General of Police.
The Handwritten applications addressed to the IGP should be delivered to Police District/Divisional Headquarters not later than 4th July, 2025
Suitable candidates must Ugandan Citizens with National IDs, no criminal record, possess UCE Certificate or its equivalent, be physically and medically fit and be ready to undergo the basic 12 months police training.
The Applicants are expected to have valid driving permits.
The Application letter must be accompanied by recommendation letters from LC1, LC3 and RDC of the respective districts of residence. Three recent passport size photographs, photocopies of the National ID and Driving Licence. Females are especially encouraged to apply.
Police warns the applicants that entry into the Uganda Police Force Service will only happen after completion of the basic 12 months training.
